Introducing the Balcones Wheels CC Team Store

Ed. note: Team store is now closed, so let’s wait impatiently for four to six weeks and then the goods should be in hand.  Please stand by for distribution when it happens.

Just in time for the 2021 edition of le Tour, our the BWCC Team Store is now set up.  Here’s a look back at the design (we went with the pinkier version of the shorts, by the way), and here’s the information I have from our boy Ben at Champion Systems in Nebraska.

Hi GG,

Store is all set up for just jersey and bibs, you are right those proofs were approved.

This link is live now so you can send it out whenever you are ready, just let me know what close date you want. I wouldn’t recommend anything longer than 2 weeks, people will mostly procrastinate regardless of what the time window is (universal truth, not picking on your group!).

Size Guide Size chart points to a very form fit. If there is any question I recommend sizing up.

So there you have it straight from the source.  Does two weeks from tomorrow sound OK for everyone as a deadline?  I think the way it works, basically, is that if we make the minimum order number (five for a small discount, ten for a bigger one) with our combined individual orders within that timeframe, it’ll basically function as a big (discounted) group order that will then be shipped to me but bagged and labeled with individual names.  That’s pretty handy.  And I don’t have to mess with all the “Venmo me this amount” and “Jeremy you STILL owe me like a hundred bucks WTF man” and all that.

Anyway, can everyone get their orders in by two weeks from tomorrow?

Bonus content: Here’s a bit about how the kit is made, or at least how it was made in 2013 anyway.
